Modern High-Back Swivel Lounge Chair

Product details

Seller's Notes:A sculptural modern swivel lounge chair drawing from mid-century and Scandinavian Modern design, with a dramatically elongated wingback silhouette, fully upholstered shell, layered cushions, and four-star metal pedestal base. Tall upholstered wings extend considerably above the integrated arms, creating an enveloping profile around the upper back. The sides narrow through the center before sweeping outward toward the seat, producing a fluid silhouette with pronounced architectural character. The interior is composed of a removable seat cushion, tall central back cushion, and separate headrest. Two covered buttons and restrained horizontal tufting accent the headrest. The substantial upholstered body is elevated on a slender four-star metal base that provides swivel functionality. The contrast between the minimal pedestal and oversized winged shell reinforces the chair’s modernist appearance. Neutral gray textured upholstery keeps the palette understated and allows the form itself to remain the primary visual element. A distinctive contemporary interpretation of classic mid-century lounge seating suitable for a living room, office, library, bedroom, or reading area.
