Seller's Notes:We found this stand with another cabin in a Thailand antique market almost 30 years ago, and fell in love with them immediately. The stand was for sitting buddha statue and worship items in Thailand. The stand has a drawer to store incense, pray books, as you can see in the second last picture. The top panel has a buttery texture in golden yellow color. The body is of a different wood. One leg has a piece of splint off, and the inside wood is red. The stand is stunningly beautiful, lavishly decorated by the artisans meticulously laying down hundreds of ornaments pieces. The traditional Thai handmade furniture technique and opulent aesthetic taste reflect the Thai high class family's wealth and their deep worship of the Buddha. The stand has a small foot print, can easily blend into space of any size. It's perfect for your Zen moment or just an interesting piece of focus. If you buy the stand with the mini cabinet together, you will enjoy some discount.
