Seller's Notes:Victorian Burr Walnut Parquetry Inlaid Writing Slope Portable Desk Turnbridge Ware It comes with two board covers as shown in the last photo. Large impressive Victorian burr walnut writing slope, circa 1890 Burr walnut front and top with inlaid Tunbridge type parquetry straps and canted edges. Inlaid brass escutcheon and cartouche. Three secret drawers inside the upper cavity. In very good bright sound condition with little wear and tear from use, no significant damage or repair. The underside shows where legs supposedly were located at one time. Overall measures 19 3/4" wide, 10 1/4" deep and 7" tall.
