Seller's Notes:Italian Carrara Marble/ Forged Pewter Desk We purchased this desk in 2022 from RH and have used it sparingly over the last couple of years. It has been mostly unused. We are moving and no longer have space for it. Description from RH website: Inspired by the sculptural works of Salvador Dalí and Diego Giacometti, our collection by Julie Lawrence merges the rustic sensibility of hand-forged solid brass or solid stainless steel with cool marble. Employing an ancient fabrication process, artisans hand hammer the metal bars to reveal an alive, imperfect and organic texture. The pounded, tapered silhouettes are a rich counterpoint to the smooth, honed stone.
