Seller's Notes:Currently retails on RH website for over $3500. Carrera marble top, forged brass base. There is an etch mark on the marble easily covered or removed with an etch remover kit. Otherwise in perfect condition. Absolutely beautiful and special piece.
Inspired by the sculptural works of Salvador DalĂ and Diego Giacometti, our collection by Julie Lawrence merges the rustic sensibility of hand-forged solid brass or solid stainless steel with cool marble. Employing an ancient fabrication process, artisans hand hammer the metal bars to reveal an alive, imperfect and organic texture. The pounded, tapered silhouettes are a rich counterpoint to the smooth, honed stone.
