Seller's Notes:RH Restoration Hardware Rajouri Silk & Wool Rug – 12' × 15' Bronze | 56% Silk | Hand-Knotted | 100 Knots Per Square Inch | Made in Nepal Beautiful Staging Condition | Professionally Cleaned Configured RH Retail Price $8,115 Member Sale $31,360 Regular ──────────────────────────── DESCRIPTION Exceptionally luxurious and richly dimensional, the RH Rajouri Silk & Wool Rug draws inspiration from ancient Tibetan symbols, translating their geometric symmetry into a sophisticated contemporary design. Master artisans in Nepal create the distinctive pattern through a series of concentric rectangles, individually hand knotted and hand carved into the dense pile. The repeating geometry gives Rajouri a strong architectural rhythm, while its tonal palette and dimensional construction keep the overall aesthetic refined and understated. The rug is crafted from an exceptionally luxurious blend led by 56% fine silk and 34% hand-spun wool. The silk introduces beautiful luminosity and movement across the surface, while wool provides a softer matte counterpoint and organic texture. As surrounding light and viewing angles change, the pattern can appear more or less pronounced, giving the rug remarkable visual depth. Constructed at 100 knots per square inch, Rajouri has the density necessary to produce beautifully defined geometric detail. The pattern is further enhanced by a sculptural high-low pile ranging from approximately ¼ inch to ½ inch, creating raised and recessed areas that can be both seen and felt. This example is the impressive 12' × 15' size in Bronze. The warm, sophisticated coloration beautifully complements the silk-rich construction and makes Rajouri particularly striking in large living rooms, great rooms, dining spaces, primary suites, and other substantial designer interiors. Previously utilized for upscale staging, this rug presents beautifully and has been professionally cleaned by K.A. Menendian Rug Gallery, a highly respected specialty rug gallery. It is refreshed and placement ready for its next home. Two rugs are available for individual purchase. Each is handcrafted and has its own placement history, so subtle differences between the available examples may be present. ──────────────────────────── DIMENSIONS Size: 12' × 15' Pile Height: Approximately ¼"–½" Construction: 100 knots per square inch The oversized 12' × 15' profile makes Rajouri particularly well suited for substantial seating arrangements, large dining rooms, primary suites, and open-concept interiors. Because each rug is individually handcrafted, slight variations in overall dimensions are inherent to its artisan construction and should be expected. A quality rug pad is recommended for additional cushioning and stability and to help protect both the rug and underlying flooring. ──────────────────────────── STYLE OVERVIEW • Organic Modern • Contemporary • Quiet Luxury • Geometric Modern • Global Modern • Sculptural • Transitional • Architectural • Wabi-Sabi • Designer-Curated Interiors Rajouri combines ancient Tibetan inspiration with sophisticated contemporary geometry. The repeating concentric rectangles provide architectural structure, while the monochromatic treatment, hand carving, and luxurious fibers soften the design and prevent it from feeling overly graphic. From a distance, Rajouri reads as a sophisticated tonal foundation. Closer inspection reveals considerably more intricacy, texture, and dimensionality. It pairs beautifully with travertine, limestone, marble, warm oak, walnut, plaster, linen, bouclé, leather, bronze, aged brass, and other sophisticated natural materials. ──────────────────────────── COLOR OVERVIEW Bronze Bronze is a sophisticated, warm neutral with exceptional tonal depth. Rather than reading as a conventional metallic bronze, the coloration has an earthy, nuanced quality with variations of bronze, warm taupe, mushroom, sand, and softly muted brown. The substantial silk content gives the surface a beautiful luster, allowing the Bronze coloration to shift noticeably depending on ambient light, viewing direction, and pile orientation. This interaction between color, texture, and light gives Rajouri a particularly rich appearance while remaining versatile enough to anchor a neutral interior. ──────────────────────────── MATERIALS & CONSTRUCTION 56% Silk | 34% Wool | 6% Polyester | 3% Cotton | 1% Viscose • Masterfully hand knotted in Nepal • Exceptional 100 knots per square inch • Concentric geometric rectangles are hand knotted and hand carved • Sculptural high-low ¼"–½" pile • 56% silk content provides exceptional luster, softness, and dimensionality • Hand-spun wool contributes matte contrast, softness, and organic texture • Finished with hand-serged edges • GoodWeave Certified • Suitable for medium-traffic areas The unusually high 56% silk content is particularly important to Rajouri's luxurious appearance. Silk responds dynamically to light and viewing direction, emphasizing the hand-carved geometry and giving the surface a distinctive luminous quality. ──────────────────────────── ARTISAN CHARACTER Rajouri is an individually handcrafted rug, and subtle variation is inherent to its construction and an important part of its character. Differences in shading, yarn texture, pile height, carving, dimensions, sheen, and pattern definition may naturally occur as a result of the hand-knotted and hand-carved construction. Silk is also highly responsive to light and pile direction. Portions of the rug may therefore appear lighter, deeper, or more lustrous when viewed from different positions. These characteristics are inherent to fine silk-and-wool rugs and reflect the artisan process rather than manufacturing imperfections. ──────────────────────────── CONDITION Previously utilized for upscale staging, this RH Rajouri Silk & Wool Rug presents in beautiful overall condition. Prior to listing, the rug was professionally cleaned by K.A. Menendian Rug Gallery and has been refreshed and prepared for placement in its next home. Please note: As the rug was recently professionally cleaned, the silk pile may initially feel slightly firm or compacted. This is common following the cleaning and drying process. Once laid flat and allowed to relax, the fibers will naturally soften and the pile will regain more of its characteristic movement. As with any piece previously utilized for staging, minor traces of prior placement, handling, or transportation may be present upon close inspection. These are minimal overall and do not detract from the rug's beautiful presentation. Natural variations in shading, texture, pile direction, sheen, carving, and dimensions are inherent to the rug's hand-knotted construction and premium silk-and-wool composition and should be expected. Overall, this is an exceptionally luxurious, beautifully presenting and placement-ready rug, offering impressive scale, substantial silk content, intricate hand-carved detail, and exceptional artisan craftsmanship. ──────────────────────────── CARE Suitable for medium-traffic areas. A quality rug pad is recommended to provide additional cushioning and stability and to help protect both the rug and underlying flooring. Given the substantial silk content, professional specialty rug cleaning is recommended as needed. Rotate periodically to encourage even wear and minimize prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. ──────────────────────────── COUNTRY OF ORIGIN Nepal ────────────────────────────
