Seller's Notes:RH Restoration Hardware Lasya Silk & Wool Rug – 12' × 15' Sand | Hand-Knotted Silk & Wool | 100 Knots Per Square Inch | Made in India Beautiful Staging Condition | Professionally Cleaned Configured RH Retail Price $33,515 Member $47,880 Regular ──────────────────────────── DESCRIPTION Exceptionally luxurious in both material and craftsmanship, the RH Lasya Silk & Wool Rug is a sophisticated hand-knotted design distinguished by its dense pile, subtle geometric texture, and extraordinary silk-rich luster. Hand knotted from hand-spun silk and wool at 100 knots per square inch, Lasya is designed to showcase the natural beauty of its fibers rather than rely on dramatic pattern or color. Pure silk lends the surface its characteristic burnished patina, while the hand-spun yarns create organic tonal movement and subtle variation throughout the rug. Artisans carve the dense pile into a high-low textural surface, creating an understated geometric pattern that becomes more apparent as light travels across the rug. The interplay between raised and recessed areas, combined with the reflective quality of silk, gives Lasya remarkable dimension without sacrificing its quiet, minimalist aesthetic. This example is the impressive 12' × 15' size in Sand, a sophisticated warm neutral that allows the material, texture, and craftsmanship to take center stage. At this scale, Lasya creates an extraordinary foundation for a large living room, great room, primary suite, dining space, or other substantial designer interior. Previously utilized for upscale staging, this rug has been professionally cleaned by K.A. Menendian Rug Gallery and is refreshed, placement ready, and presents in beautiful overall condition. Minor traces of previous staging, placement, or handling may be present upon close inspection. Three rugs are available for individual purchase. Because Lasya is individually handcrafted and each rug has its own staging history, subtle variation between available examples should be expected. With a configured RH retail price of $33,515 Member / $47,880 Regular, Lasya represents an exceptional opportunity to acquire an extraordinarily luxurious, large-scale RH silk and wool rug at significant savings compared to current retail. ──────────────────────────── DIMENSIONS Size: 12' × 15' Pile Height: Approximately ¼" Construction: 100 knots per square inch Because Lasya is individually handcrafted, slight variations in overall dimensions are inherent to the artisan construction and should be expected. A quality rug pad is recommended to provide additional cushioning and stability and to help protect both the rug and underlying flooring. ──────────────────────────── STYLE OVERVIEW • Organic Modern • Contemporary • Quiet Luxury • Modern Luxury • Minimalist • Textural Modern • Transitional • Architectural • Wabi-Sabi • Designer-Curated Interiors Lasya is a particularly strong example of quiet luxury, where exceptional materials and craftsmanship create the visual impact rather than overt pattern or ornamentation. The subtle high-low design gives the surface architectural dimension, while the natural luster of silk creates movement as surrounding light changes. Its understated design pairs beautifully with travertine, limestone, marble, plaster, warm oak, walnut, bouclé, linen, leather, bronze, aged brass, and other sophisticated natural materials. ──────────────────────────── COLOR OVERVIEW Sand Sand is a sophisticated warm neutral with subtle tonal variation created by the interaction of hand-spun fibers, dimensional pile, and silk. Rather than presenting as a uniform beige, the color incorporates nuanced tones of sand, flax, warm ivory, oatmeal, soft beige, and subtle taupe, creating a beautifully layered neutral foundation. The significant silk content gives the surface a characteristic burnished luster, allowing portions of the rug to appear lighter or deeper depending on viewing angle, pile direction, and surrounding light. This natural movement is an important characteristic of silk-rich rugs and gives Lasya considerably greater depth than a conventional solid neutral rug. ──────────────────────────── MATERIALS OVERVIEW 38% Wool | 36% Silk | 16% Polyester | 10% Cotton Pile • Hand knotted in India • Crafted from hand-spun silk and wool • Fine 100-knot-per-square-inch construction • Approximately ¼" pile height • Carved high-low finish creates dimensional texture across the surface • Significant 36% silk content produces the rug's distinctive luster and burnished appearance • Wool contributes natural softness, warmth, and body • Hand-spun yarns enhance the organic character and tonal variation • Finished with hand-serged edges • GoodWeave Certified The substantial use of silk is central to Lasya's luxurious appearance. Silk interacts with light differently than the surrounding fibers, giving the rug its characteristic luminosity and allowing its subtle high-low pattern to emerge and recede depending on viewing angle. ──────────────────────────── ARTISAN CHARACTER The Lasya is an individually handcrafted rug, and subtle variations are inherent to its construction and should be celebrated as part of its character. Differences in shading, yarn texture, pile height, sheen, pattern placement, and overall dimensions may naturally occur as a result of the hand-spun fibers and hand-knotted construction. Silk also naturally responds to pile direction and surrounding light. The same area can therefore appear lighter or darker when viewed from opposite directions. These characteristics are inherent to fine silk-rich rugs and should not be regarded as manufacturing imperfections. They help ensure that each Lasya rug is individually distinctive. ──────────────────────────── CONDITION Previously utilized for upscale staging, this RH Lasya Silk & Wool Rug presents in beautiful overall condition. Prior to listing, the rug was professionally cleaned by K.A. Menendian Rug Gallery and has been refreshed and prepared for placement in its next home. Minor traces of previous staging, placement, handling, or transportation may be present upon close inspection, consistent with its prior use. These are minimal overall and do not detract from the rug's beautiful presentation. As a hand-knotted, silk-rich artisan rug, natural variations in shading, texture, pile direction, sheen, and coloration are inherent to its construction. The reflective characteristics of silk can also cause areas to appear lighter or darker depending on viewing direction and surrounding light. Overall, this is an exceptionally luxurious, beautifully presenting RH rug with remarkable scale, material quality, and craftsmanship. It has been professionally cleaned and is refreshed and placement ready for its next home. ──────────────────────────── CARE Suitable for medium-traffic areas. A quality rug pad is recommended to provide additional cushioning and stability and to help protect both the rug and underlying flooring. Given the premium silk-and-wool construction, professional specialty rug cleaning is recommended as needed. Rotate periodically to encourage even wear and minimize prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. ──────────────────────────── COUNTRY OF ORIGIN India ────────────────────────────
