This is a timeless wood and woven cane chair, designed by the New York architect and designer Ward Bennett, in collaboration with Brickel Associates. Bennett’s pieces are iconic examples of the important mid-century modern era of American design, and their clean, classic forms resound in today’s marketplace (for example, in 2004 they were reintroduced by Geiger for Design Within Reach).
