Chinoiserie-style burl and black lacquer dining set by Henredon of Morganton, NC, USA circa 1980. Oval table is composed of a burl inset surface framed by a black lacquer border raised on a double pedestal with brass accents atop a stepped base. The chairs (four in total - two side, two captain) feature a black lacquered, wooden frame with burl back splats, caned seats, and brass sabots. A luxurious set in very nice, vintage condition with only a few, light scuffs to the lacquer and light wear to the unpolished, brass sabots.
