This is a heavy, "indestructible" set made of solid mango wood. It has a beautiful, hand-hewn rustic character typical of other World Market Hardwood collections. The solid wood has a natural rustic patina and some typical surface wear, and one corner has two letters carved (see photo, next owner could possibly resolve with a bit of sandpaper and elbow grease).
