Seller's Notes:Gary Weeks of Texas became famous for his handcrafted rocking chairs (my first purchase) and once I experienced that, I was hooked. The dining chairs echo Amish style chairs except these have “tractor” like seats and a curve for the lower back. They are super comfortable. I have had many a dinner party and meeting around this table and no one wants to get up for living room comfort after we’re done! They stay at the table for hours (don’t invite people you want to rid of!). My asking price is crazy low, since when I bought the chairs and two armchairs, they alone were $10,000 in 2006. The table was purchased in 2022 for $5,000. The table is cherry with a satin finish, and the chairs are walnut - two of the chairs are armchairs for each end of the table. They are super easy to care for - lemon oil once in a while, and nothing more. Or just nut oil. When the chair seats get a little dry, I use a little walnut oil and let it seep in.
