Seller's Notes:This item is heavy but offers a beautiful and interesting way to screen off light or separate space. The 24 inlaid brass squares in the panels feature Chinese stories in Mandarin. Because it is hand made, one must be careful when opening or moving it. Best to find a great spot with minimal traffic and leave it there. I had a bright, tall window in my bedroom that needed some privacy and diminished morning light, and this was perfect. I would keep it but I have sold my home and need to downsize dramatically. (I have a sideboard that matches the style, that I would consider selling as well).
