Seller's Notes:This nightstand is from my parents' first bedroom set when they were married in 1956. It is a fine quality piece of mid century mahogany furniture from the manufacturer Kent-Coffey "The Saratoga" collection. The drawers have dovetailed joints. It is 26-1/4 inches high, 20 inches wide, and 15 inches deep. The top drawer is 2-1/4 inches deep, the center shelf area is 9-3/4 inches high and the bottom drawer is 4-1/4 inches deep. It has been primed with 2 coats of white shellac based primer to prevent bleed through, then painted with a coat of light gray paint, and followed by 2 coats of Martha Stewart Living metallic silver specialty paint. The original knobs have been replaced with clear faceted glass balls for that extra touch of movie-star glamour. The horizontal surfaces (top and shelf) have been given 2 coats of satin polyurethane for extra durability.
