Seller's Notes:My grandfather purchased this walnut and birch desk along with a number of other pieces from the same Ethan Allen collection in the late 1960s. This piece has been owned and loved by my grandparents, mother, and myself over the years. It is a great student desk or small writing desk and, with a little TLC, could look close to new again. The marks on the interior are from a white, wooden chair that would bump against it when moved in and out of the space. The markings could likely be buffed out. There is water damage to the top surface of the desk. This may always be a “character feature”, but could likely be improved upon. The top narrow drawer has been repaired and is in good working order. It is a well made piece by a highly respected furniture company that has been well loved by my family over the decades. It has many more years to give and would make a lovely addition to anyone’s home.
