Seller's Notes:These stunning antique Victorian carved wood chairs are absolutely magnificent! They were discovered at an estate sale outside Philadelphia and, while no maker is marked, they very closely resemble the work of esteemed chair maker George Henkel. The taller gentleman’s chair measures 45 inches high, 19 inches wide, & 18 inches deep. The petite lady’s chair measures 40 inches tall in the back, 17 inches wide, & 18 inches deep. Both chairs are in good condition and the lady’s chair has a slight crack in the back. I’ve never seen chairs like these and impressed with both their artistry and craftsmanship.
