Solid pine and engineered hardwood frame with reinforced joinery. All wood is kiln-dried for added durability. Concealed support legs for a streamlined profile (removable). Back cushions are wrapped with down & feather blend. Seat cushions have fiber-wrapped, high-resiliency polyurethane foam cores. Seat firmness: Soft. On a scale from 1 to 5 (5 being firmest), we rate it a 2. Sofa folds out to reveal Full-sized mattress. Foam mattress with polyester batting. Mattress runs slightly smaller than standard mattress sizing; Full-sized sheets are recommended to ensure complete coverage. To avoid damaging the frame, do not fold the mattress into the sofa with sheets or blankets on it. Chaise lifts up via gas-lift mechanism to reveal storage space.
