Seller's Notes:West Elm 2-Piece Pop-Up Sleeper Sectional w/ Storage Chaise (Performance Velvet Gray) Purchased new in January 2022. Smoke-free, pet-free, 1-person household. • Chaise side is firm (due to the storage compartment underneath). • Sofa side is more worn-in from regular use — comfortable for short sitting, but less supportive for long periods. • Pop-up sleeper (queen size) works well, though the trundle pull-out is a bit firm and not the easiest to lift. • Pull-out cushion is a lighter gray color and was never a perfect match to the rest of the sectional (see photos). • Back cushion covers are removable and machine washable. • Overall clean and functional, best suited for a guest space, den, or short-term seating/sleeping. Hand-built frames with hand-finished upholstery. Kiln-dried engineered hardwood frame with mortise & tenon joinery. Plastic shadowline support legs in an Espresso finish (removable). High-gauge sinuous spring and webbed cushion support. Cushions have fiber-wrapped, high-resiliency polyurethane foam cores. Seat firmness: Medium. On a scale from 1 to 5 (5 being firmest), we rate it a 3. Chaise lifts up via gas-lift mechanism to reveal storage space. Trundle pulls out from sofa and lifts up via elastic strap to create a Queen-sized sleeping area. To avoid damaging the frame, do not fold the cushion into the sofa with sheets or blankets on it. Reversible cushions with zip-off covers (chaise seat cushion is not reversible). Chaise seat cushion features a top seam. This contract-grade item is manufactured to meet the demands of commercial use in addition to residential.
