Seller's Notes:Antique/ vintage oil painting from 1910 by famous American painter George Ames Aldrich, Indiana’s best- known artist of 20th century, born in Massachusetts in 1872, who studied and lived in Europe( associated with atmospheric landscape painting in impressionist style). His work is represented in many museums throughout the world and many private collections. This work features the edge of a river in a quaint pastoral French town. Hand signed and in excellent condition. Currently hung in a substantial solid gold carved frame. W 37 in./ H 31 in.
