Product details

Seller's Notes:We originally acquired this striking Chippendale-style camelback sofa and commissioned a full professional restoration, having it completely reupholstered in a vibrant, high-quality blue velvet. It was only lightly used after the refurbishing and remains in excellent, incredibly supportive shape. We’ve found that the sofa simply no longer matches our current decor and spatial layout, so we are looking to pass it on to a new space. The craftsmanship on this piece is exceptional. The structural integrity, the fluid lines of the continuous sweeping back, and the heavily detailed mahogany cabriole legs with deeply carved ball-and-claw feet strongly indicate it was produced by a respected 20th-century fine furniture manufacturer such as Hickory Chair, Kittinger, Baker, or Southwood. Similar high-end mahogany camelback models on the secondary market sell quickly, and we are offering a competitive price. We are open to negotiation depending on the buyer and pickup arrangements. We are more than happy to share more photos, provide exact measurements, or answer any specific questions you might have about the piece or its restoration. Condition: Excellent / Lightly Used Post-Restoration Location: Local pickup in Skokie. Shipping/freight arrangements can be discussed for the right offer.
