Seller's Notes:This is a rare find! A steel tanker desk in a beautiful chocolate enamel. This desk was in regular use at an insurance company in New Jersey for decades before it was forgotten in a storage unit. It was rediscovered last year, cleaned up, and given new life with a gorgeous mauve triangle motif pattern on the tabletop. All the drawers open smoothly thanks to a thorough cleaning and re-greasing. The tabletop is sealed with high gloss polyurethane. There are a few scratches to the enamel but overall it’s in great condition for a piece it’s age. Perfect for any vintage-inspired working space as-is, but would also be a great find for a furniture restoration project.
