Seller's Notes: This vintage school desk was quite a hit when we bought it from an antique store for our daughter when she was little. She said she couldn't understand why these desks aren't still used in school because they are so practical with the area below the seat for books. But, alas, she has long outgrown this desk and it's sad to see it just continue to gather dust in the basement. The desk is sturdy and in good condition for its age. The wood is finished with some sort of varnish so it easily wipes clean. There are some minor scratches and paint splatter (see photo). Your little scholar will love it.
