Seller's Notes:Rare complete pair of Pereiras of Portugal ceramic elephants. The pure white ceramic is stunning. No surprise, as Portugal is known for its mastery of the medium. This original pair is stamped beneath. Each elephant has Pereiras’ insignia and marked 1, and 2, respectively. These elephants are seldom found as a complete pair! The tusks are independently cast and attached. The elephants are beautifully modeled with a natural grace to their anatomy and stance. The craftsmanship is exquisite. One elephant is larger than the other. This listing is for the two white elephants. The black Royal Haeger round vase is not included. Inquire if interested in the black vase. We also have a pair of large scale brass elephant sculptures (sold separately.) Inquire if interested. Smaller: 13” Long x 5” Wide x 10” High Larger: 21” Long x 9” Wide x 12.5” High Condition: Clean, original, vintage condition. No chips or cracks.
