Vintage Modern Glass Top Console Table

Product details

Seller's Notes:This vintage Modern console table makes an immediate statement with its sculptural cream base, clear glass top, and contrasting brass-tone details. The bold geometric silhouette combines angled side panels with a large open center and lower display platform, giving the table plenty of visual presence without making it feel heavy. A clear rectangular glass top rests above cylindrical metal supports, creating a floating effect and adding a polished contrast to the warmer neutral base. The lower platform provides another useful surface for coffee table books, baskets, ceramics, plants, or decorative objects. The overall look reflects the glamorous side of late twentieth-century Modern design, when designers frequently combined parchment-inspired finishes, glass, and metallic accents to create furniture that felt architectural and luxurious. Its neutral coloring also makes the table surprisingly easy to incorporate into an existing room. Use it as an entryway console beneath a mirror, behind a sofa, along a dining room wall, or as a statement display table. It works especially well with Modern, Hollywood Regency, Postmodern, Contemporary, and eclectic décor and provides a great way to introduce vintage character without relying on heavily ornamented traditional furniture.
