Vintage Mid-Century Modern Pink Sofa Daybed

Product details

Seller's Notes:A great vintage mid-century modern sofa that easily doubles as a daybed. This piece has a wonderfully simple design: a long upholstered cushion sits on a slim exposed wood platform supported by tapered legs, while two loose back cushions provide support without adding a bulky permanent back. The back cushions are removable, opening up the full upholstered surface and turning the piece into a comfortable daybed or oversized lounging area. That flexibility makes it especially useful in a guest room, office, den, studio apartment, or any room that needs seating most of the time but occasionally needs an extra sleeping or lounging space. The dusty pink upholstery has a subtle small-scale pattern that gives the piece plenty of vintage personality. Against the warm wood platform and tapered legs, it has a great 1950s–60s look without feeling overly formal. The armless profile also keeps the sofa visually light and makes it easy to approach from either side. We especially like this one for its simplicity. There are no unnecessary decorative elements—the proportions, wood base, long tapered legs, and removable cushions provide all the character it needs. A fun and functional vintage piece that works equally well as everyday seating or a classic mid-century daybed.
