A classic mid-century modern pod swivel chair in a rich mustard yellow vinyl that looks straight out of a 1960s design catalog — and it still turns heads today. Made by Contemporary Shells, Inc. of Garden City, NY, this chair is a period-authentic American reproduction of the iconic Overman-style pod chair, complete with the original manufacturer’s tag still attached. The urethane foam fill is intact and supportive, the vinyl is crack-free and supple with no peeling or fading, and the chrome 4-star swivel base is solid and smooth.
