Seller's Notes:This is a true piece of American design history. Manufactured in 1948 by the renowned Lane Furniture Company at their original plant in Altavista, Virginia, this coffee table is part of their iconic Rhythm collection (Style No. 997). The Rhythm line was heavily inspired by Danish Modern design, known for its fluid, organic lines and tapered legs. What makes this specific table so special is the solid walnut wood and its stunning natural grain — you can clearly see the lighter streaks and beautiful waves running across the top surface. It is a heavy, sturdy piece that tells a story of 78 years of craftsmanship.
