Product details
Seller's Notes:A graceful vintage French Provincial armchair with a painted wood frame, button-tufted back and champagne-toned upholstery. The chair draws from Louis XV furniture with its shaped back, flowing open arms, serpentine seat rail and slender cabriole legs. A softly painted finish emphasizes the curves and molded details of the exposed frame. The upholstered back is deeply button tufted, while the generously proportioned seat is covered in coordinating damask-patterned fabric. The tonal upholstery keeps the palette subtle while adding texture and pattern. The chair retains an older Pennsylvania upholstery-law tag beneath the seat documenting its traditional moss and cotton-felt filling. Its open-arm construction and elegant proportions make it a versatile occasional chair for a living room, bedroom, reading area, dressing room, or traditional home office. A classic vintage piece with a romantic French-inspired silhouette and plenty of decorative presence.
