Believed to date from the late 19th century (1800s). A beautiful statement piece for a living room, library, or entryway. Solid, sturdy, and ready for its next home. Purchased from a French Antique store. Reupholstered with a neutral, washable fabric. Seat cushion was made more comfortable by replacing original fill material.
