Vintage Arched Wicker Wall Mirror

Product details

Seller's Notes:This vintage wicker mirror combines a tall rectangular reflective area with an arched decorative panel above it. At 29 inches wide and 47 inches high overall, it has enough presence to become a focal point above a dresser, entry cabinet, or living room console. The frame features several distinct woven details. Across the top, alternating horizontal and vertical bundles form a checkerboard pattern. A narrower band of finer weaving sits directly below, while a thick braided border follows the entire outside edge. The curved crest softens the otherwise straight-sided shape and gives the mirror a more finished, furniture-like appearance. Warm honey-brown tones make the frame easy to combine with both light and dark furnishings. Against a pale wall, the woven details stand out clearly; against a deeper color, the warmer tones become more pronounced. The rectangular glass offers a simple visual center within the more decorative surround. The mirror suits coastal, bohemian, and casual traditional rooms, but it can also add texture to a space furnished with simpler contemporary pieces. Use it above a painted chest with a table lamp, or pair it with a wood console and a few ceramics. Its tall shape helps draw the eye upward, while the broad woven crest adds interest even when viewed from across the room. Overall dimensions: 29″ W × 47″ H. Condition: age appropriate wear, vintage finish worn, scuffs/scratches, edge wear, discoloration, see photos.
