Seller's Notes:Beautiful vintage 1970s Space-Age arc floor lamp that originally belonged to my grandfather. The maker is unknown, but this is a substantial, well-made vintage piece with a heavy black metal base, long curved chrome-finish metal arm, and large reflective chrome dome shade. I absolutely love this lamp and have held onto it because of its history and unique design. I’m only selling it because I recently purchased a larger arc lamp and unfortunately don’t have enough room in my apartment to keep both. I would love for this piece to go to a new home where it can continue to be enjoyed. The lamp has aged quite well considering its age and remains fully functional. As expected with an authentic vintage piece from the 1970s, there are signs of age and use. The curved metal arm has visible patina/oxidation and some discoloration to the finish, and the chrome dome shade has some light surface wear and marks. The black base also shows minor vintage wear. I have included close-up photos so the condition can be seen clearly. These imperfections are consistent with the lamp’s age and, in my opinion, add to its authentic vintage character. It has a striking Space-Age/Italian Modern–inspired silhouette and looks beautiful both illuminated and turned off. A wonderful statement piece for a vintage, Mid-Century Modern, Space-Age, 1970s, or eclectic interior.
