This piece originally retailed for over $5,000 and was built to last a lifetime. It's been well-loved in a home office and is ready for its next chapter. The roll top opens to reveal one of the most complete fitted interiors you'll find: multiple small drawers with brass label-holder pulls (several felt-lined), vertical letter and file slots, open cubbyholes for mail and documents, and a dedicated pen tray. A pull-out writing board on the right pedestal extends your workspace when you need it. The double pedestal base has four drawers on each side — including a deep hanging file drawer with dividers — plus a center drawer, all with hand-carved solid oak pulls. Finished on all sides. Roll top has a lock (key status unknown). We used this desk for years as a true working office hub and always admired how it made even a stack of papers look dignified.
