Seller's Notes:A beautiful and increasingly hard-to-find matched pair of antique Louis XV Revival lingerie chests by Slack-Rassnick of New York City, a respected designer and maker of fine furniture during the early 20th century. Dating from approximately the 1930s, these were quality American-made pieces built with dovetailed oak drawer boxes and excellent craftsmanship. The pair remains structurally solid with all original marble tops and hardware. They do show veneer loss and cosmetic wear consistent with age, making them excellent candidates for restoration or for use as-is in a traditional, eclectic, or designer interior. These are far more substantial than typical vintage bedroom furniture and are increasingly difficult to find as a matching pair.
