This exceptional piece features a level of preservation rarely seen in 50+ year old furniture. Appearing in nearly brand new condition. This sofa is a true time capsule piece documented by its original shipping tag dated November 20th 1969 from Sherrill to Collin’s furniture on Thomasville rd. In Tallahassee, Fl. Authenticity is further verified by the original woven cloth Sherrill Furniture signature label sewn into the decking under the cushions. Construction frame hand built using solid walnut wood and 6 post with walnut wood railing around the base.offering a structural durability far superior to modern mass market furniture.
