Seller's Notes:The Papillon ("butterfly" in French) sideboard was envisioned by René Bouchara as a sculptural piece that merges the grace of a butterfly with the sleek sensibility of a sports car It features a high-gloss lacquer finish vibrant red with fluid, aerodynamic lines and two lifting thermo-formed doors. Inside, it houses clear glass shelves that enhance both aesthetics and functionality The structure utilizes daquacryl® (a 3 mm-thick high-gloss PMMA veneer on engineered wood), supported by a lacquered plywood base, and offers glass shelving This is a limited-edition piece, numbered and signed, with production limited to 400 units. Born in Paris and educated in New York, Bouchara imagined a sideboard which evoked images of the grace of a butterfly and at the same time the elegance of a sports car.‎ The glossy lacquer highlights the lines both fluid and racy of this limited-edition piece.‎ The finish is Red.
