Menendian Rug & Carpet Gallery, a highly respected luxury rug specialist. Overall, the rug presents beautifully with exceptional texture, dimensionality, and warmth throughout the surface. As expected with a handwoven natural-fiber rug that has undergone staging and professional cleaning, there are a few minor condition considerations disclosed for full transparency. There is one small area of surface texture disturbance or indentation visible within the pile from prior furniture placement or staging pressure. At present, the area appears cosmetic in nature and does not present as structural damage to the weave itself. Given the density and character of the construction, the area may continue to relax and soften with time and settling. Additionally, the reverse backing side shows a few areas of separation or splitting within the backing layer itself. Importantly, these areas do not penetrate through to the visible rug face or pile and are not visible from the primary presentation side of the rug.
