HOW IT IS CONSTRUCTED Built from solid poplar wood, birch veneers, plywood and MDF (medium density fiberboard), an engineered wood that lends exceptional strength and ensures that the toddler bed will endure over time. Finish is applied in multi-step process using child-safe, water-based paint. The paint provides durability, richness and depth of color to each piece.
