HOW IT IS CONSTRUCTED Crafted from solid poplar wood, birch veneers on select finishes, and MDF. Hardwood frame is kiln-dried to prevent warping or bowing. All wood is kiln dried for added strength and lasting beauty. Finish is applied in multi-step process using child-safe, water-based paint. The paint provides durability, richness and depth of color to each piece. GREENGUARD Gold Certified to contribute to healthier indoor air, keeping you and your family safer. DETAILS THAT MATTER Ladder is fixed and cannot be moved. A bunk mattress (sold separately) must be used on the top bunk and is also recommended for the bottom bunk; do not use a box spring on either bunk. Bunk bed does not convert into two separate beds.
