Seller's Notes: Striking pair of Postmodern Philippe Starck Pratfall Lounge Chairs by Driade Aleph, Italy 1985. These gorgeous armchairs were designed circa 1981 by Philippe Starck for the Costes Cafe in Paris. Made by Aleph/Driade in Italy. Have the makers mark for both Aleph & Starck on bottom of chairs. Black leather seat cushions, curved mahogany veneered wood and three black painted tubular steel legs. An iconic timeless chair. Condition note: Do have age-appropriate wear, chips and dings, paint wear, and scratching to front of both leather seats and overall general wear. Still incredibly beautiful overall.
