Seller's Notes:This is a rare original - it has been in my family since the 60s. A rare “RAR” (Rocking Chair on Rod) designed by Charles & Ray Eames for Herman Miller. Cream/yellow fiberglass shell seat produced by Zenith Plastics, 2nd edition, circa 1950s. Rope edge design. Original Herman Miller tag on underside (see photos for reference). The Eames RAR Chair was originally marketed as a rocker chair ‘good for young mothers.' The chair has age appropriate wear.
