Seller's Notes:Original oil painting on canvas by a Philadelphia artist, painted approximately 17 years ago. The piece depicts a mandolin player and a dancing woman in a bright, folk-inspired interior scene. It has a playful composition, with the artist painting a silver-tone border around the figures like a built-in frame, then intentionally breaking that “frame” by letting the mandolin player’s foot and elbow extend beyond it. The painting is unframed but wired and ready to hang. The canvas is lightweight and about 3/4" thick, making it easy to move and install. Color palette includes green, purple, yellow, blue, silver, and warm neutrals. Overall very good condition. There are a few minor smudges/dirt marks on the back and sides of the canvas, mostly near the corners, but the front presents well. Please see photos for details.
