Seller's Notes:Selling a custom-made coffee table by Nightwood NY, the Brooklyn artisan studio helmed by designer Ry Scruggs. Nightwood specializes in handcrafted reclaimed-wood furniture and operates on a commission basis, so pieces like this aren't available off the shelf anywhere. Real storage in a coffee table is unusual, and one with this kind of artisan pedigree is rarer still. Materials are reclaimed wood with the studio's natural finish, brass hardware. Condition is excellent. The natural character of the wood, including the two-tone surface, knots, splits, and circular ring detail, is original Nightwood design language and intentional. Structurally solid, cabinet doors swing smoothly, no wobble. Selling because we're moving and the new living room is set up differently.
