Seller's Notes:The iconic George Nelson bubble lamps are in the Museum of Modern Art's permanent collection. Modernica originally manufactured the light that Herman Miller now produces. Use a 150-watt bulb in this medium size 25" dia. saucer pendant; its luminous glow will fill a small room with light. The fixture has a steel wire armature and a translucent polymer shade. I have converted the lamp from hard wire to plug-in for an outlet, making installation effortless with no need for an electrician. The 6.75 lb fixture is lightweight enough to suspend from a hook in the ceiling, and the cord is 9 feet long. The top side of the lamp facing the ceiling has become a bit grey with age. But its orientation makes it hardly noticeable. No animals or smoke in our household. This dynamic pendant illuminated our dining room for many years.
