Seller's Notes: Slade Chair stands out with its strong brutalist stance, featuring four thick legs splayed out at the front and back from a three faceted seat. A pair of wide, angled stiles fold inward to support a gently pitched seatback with a flat top. Ideal as a statement chair, flanking a console or double doorway. Sits well against a wall or stands sturdily on its own in a large space. Prototype features: Legs, seat, stiles, seatback in solid white oak with flat finish. Seat cushion upholstered in a stain resistant 100% polyester fabric. Designed by Michael James Casey for MJCNYC. Fabricated in Brooklyn New York.
