Seller's Notes:This beautiful French nickel and crystal chandelier dates to the late 1940s or early 1950s. Graceful and airy yet also a striking statement piece, this stunning fixture includes both vertical crystal prisms and dangling prisms with bead detail, plus a large crystal ball hanging from the center. The fixture holds eight chandelier bulbs and is mounted on a matching nickel rod that was fabricated by the store. It originally hung by a chain so could probably be converted back. Comes with cream colored paper shades but you can easily have new shades fabricated to fit the original shade frames. Purchased at Alan Moss Antiques, formerly of 436 Lafayette Street in NYC, in the late 1990s. Will provide receipt if desired.
