Seller's Notes: This English mid 19th century armoire - with inlaid wood chips is the first piece of furniture and antique that I purchased in the early 1980's from the Antique Guild in Los Angeles. A number of years later, I had it beautifully restored by Italian antique restoration experts - Fallani and Sons - in Orange County, California. Fallani and Sons are 5 generations of Florentine master restoration craftsmen since 1830. The complete restoration - inside and out - included a traditional Florentine French polish method. This armoire consists of 5 parts: There are 3 main sections that sit on top of the base: the two side sections with mirrors which are the closet sections for hanging clothes; the middle section consists of drawers and two small central doors at the top that open up to two deep shelves for storage; and finally, the crown at the very top. I am moving to Europe and cannot take this beautiful piece with me and so I hope to find a nice home where it will be loved and appreciated for years to come.
