MCM Broyhill Walnut Nightstand / End Table

Product details

Seller's Notes:A versatile vintage cabinet from Broyhill Premier’s Emphasis collection, designed with the clean proportions and distinctive dimensional detailing associated with the line. The warm walnut cabinet features a broad rectangular top above two doors decorated with elongated rounded-rectangle relief panels. The sculpted detailing adds depth to the otherwise streamlined silhouette, while a small brass pull provides a subtle finishing accent. Behind the doors is an open storage compartment, giving the piece considerably more utility than a conventional side table. It works naturally beside a bed as a nightstand or next to a sofa or lounge chair as an end table, while the enclosed cabinet can accommodate books, media, linens and other everyday items. A low plinth base keeps the profile grounded and gives the cabinet a substantial architectural presence despite its compact size. Part of Broyhill Premier’s vintage Emphasis collection, this is an especially adaptable piece of American mid-century furniture. Its combination of enclosed storage and a generous top surface makes it easy to incorporate into a bedroom, living room, office or den.
