Seller's Notes:This rare and exceptional design by Paul McCobb is mid-century modern at its finest -- upscale and elegant. Solid, beautiful cherry wood with two substantial drawers at bottom, inside the wardrobe you'll find sliding shirt selves on either side with 6 small drawers in between. And over the shirt and accessory storage there are two larger shelves. All drawers use the signature small round pulls that McCobb originated. Structurally sturdy -- it is an example of superb craftsmanship -- the armoire needs refinishing on the bottom but the rest needs a less intensive restoration. It is a great opportunity to refresh this piece and resell it for its intrinsic high value -- easily worth $10,000 plus.
