The back is fully finished so it can be placed in the middle of a room. It is comfortable and classy. The clever design enables easy conversion to a guest bed the size of a twin. The back cushions pivot up and out of the way. The end cushions are weighted and just sit by gravity. There is no silly spring contraption like many (uncomfortable) sleeper sofas.
