Large, ready to hang, this piece features understated use of blue and yellow glass fragments with gravel to create an abstracted landscape. Portrays what appears to be a kind of creation myth. When the sun catches the glass, sparkles galore... Signature to lower portion of piece reads HK, subject is a wooded setting with a snake, flying figures top and bottom emanating from the central concentric circle a tree lower right, measures approximately 48.5" x 36.5". Presented in a black wooden period frame, some surface wear and losses to frame. Circa 1950s/60s. Heavy.
