Seller's Notes:Beautifully colored and shaped Glass Vase that stands 20” high. Could be used as a floor vase or on a table or case piece. This is a signature piece that would stand out in a Contemporary or Mid-Century Modern setting. The special glow of this vase, which is characteristic of Laque Line pieces, derives from the internally hand-applied lacquer technique that uses a mix of colors and foil, a process that gives depth to the piece. The piece shimmer, with purple, blue, green, gold, rust, rose, and other colors skillfully merged to create a dynamic multi-colored effect. The organic shape of the Vases, with a round base, wide center and wide lip, is typical of other Laque pieces. It is almost sculptural and shows off the configuration of colors underneath the surface of the glass. The Vase is in excellent condition. It must have been used, but the only imperfection that we can find is a tiny chip on the outer edge of the rim, so tiny that we cannot see it without a magnifying glass and we can’t get a photo of it. Otherwise the Vase has a perfect smooth surface and all details are intact, including the original label. The label, which includes the Laque Line logo, states: “Unique piece made by hand - Made in France.” Dimensions: Height of piece: 20” (base to rim); Width of Base: Diameter is 8” ; circumference is 18" Circumference: at base is 26; at widest mid-point is 38”; at rim is 33. Please Note: The Vase has such depth and so many shimmering colors that photography is nearly impossible in any light situation.
